Our Pinot Grigio Ramato is a unique wine with the essence of old world style expressed in a new and exciting way. The grapes were sourced from Mangels Vineyard in Lodi, California and once it was destemmed and lightly crushed upon arrival and fermented on the skins as a red wine. The extra time spent on the skins are what give this wine its unique color and its name; "Ramato" which translates to, "Copper". Once in barrel it was aged for 9 months in neutral oak, and underwent partial malolactic fermentation and stirred on the lees, giving added complexity.
