2015 North Fork Blend
The North Fork enjoyed a long and dry summer in 2015, allowing the grapes to ripen and mature at a steady and uninterrupted pace, resulting in bold and balanced wines. Comprised of a blend of four grape varieties, our North Fork Blend is superbly balanced, and is great to enjoy on its own, or paired with food. The blend differs each year to achieve harmony within the bottle, and great care is taken to produce a wine that is bold, rich, perfectly tannic, and well rounded.
Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Powerful yet age-worthy, this 67% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 11% Petit Verdot, and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon blend shows feisty while young, showcasing elements of cranberry, blackcurrant, baking spice, and tobacco. Drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop in the cellar over the next 20 years.
