2014 Old Vine Zinfandel
This wine can only be shipped within NY State.
Lush and full-bodied, our 2014 Old Vine Zinfandel is a savory red perfectly well suited to stand alone or enjoy alongside your favorite dishes. Grown in Lodi, California, and picked from vines planted in the 1900’s (giving it the “Old Vine” designation), this Zinfandel has a hint of spice, adding nice complexity to complement the fruity, jammy characteristics that the varietal is known for.
Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
A brooding, dark dense nose with a deep color and sweet aromatics. The Zinfandel blended with 10% Petite Sirah is big with lush ripe fruit, some dried, some not. Hints of vanilla, mocha, and strawberry pie with notes of smoke and oak poking through on the finish.
