2015 Cabernet Franc
This is an exceptional vintage of Cabernet Franc, with playful notes of cassis and blackberry preserves. The classic spice that is expected from a Long Island-grown Cabernet Franc, is complimented by deep structure and brooding intensity. It is drinking beautifully at the moment and will continue to do so for years to come. One of our more popular red wines—and a staff favorite—this small production wine will be gone before you know it!
Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Elements of cocoa powder, blackberry, cassis, and blueberry pie mix with hints of jalapeño pepper and green and black olive. Medium bodied, supple texture, deep complexity with an incredibly long finish, this wine offers layer upon layer to be enjoyed for many years to come.
